Houzz Tour

A few weeks ago we got an email asking us if we were interested in having our house be a featured tour on Houzz.com. We said, “heck yeah” and then asked our friend, Catherine Bosley to take a few pictures for us. There are a million things I still want to do to our space, but I figured a work-in-progress is not such a bad thing. In fact, I’d guess that is what most of your houses are. Decorating and updating plumbing, electrical, etc. takes time, so don’t be so hard on yourselves. We are trying not to be!

We did include some before shots so that you can have a frame of reference for what we have put into the house so far.

A little before reference – same dining room view as above.

We added French doors to brighten up the space, ripped out the heinous carpet, and made it more usable.

Living room corner before.

Ripped out the carpet, painted walls, painted fireplace (you can see that picture on the tour), painted window trim, took out the terrible and dirty blinds.

Same dormer window before.

Finished it with drywall, etc.
